If you're looking at the notion of getting married in Italy, the problem isn't so much just getting married in Italy as it is making sure that that marriage is, for one, going to be recognized in your own home country, and two, making sure that the marriage is done legally and on the level, as opposed to simply being an "honorary" marriage, so to speak.
